“The African-American culture will come to life through live entertainment, traditional cuisine, and great cultural activities for people of all ages at this great festival,” said County Executive Robert P. Astorino.
The theme for 2015's festival is "Celebrating Black Men Making a Positive Impact." Musical groups and dancers as well as drama and poetry readings will provide entertainment. The festival will also feature children's activities, educational exhibits and vendors of traditional arts and crafts and foods.
Admission and parking are free. The festival is sponsored by Westchester County Parks, Friends of Westchester County Parks, Inc. and the Coalition of African-American Organizations.
