BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — Authorities say a former Tyrone police sergeant is accused of assaulting a juvenile.
Tyrone Police Chief Jessica Walk confirms to 6 News that former Sergeant Jason Hollis is facing charges following a state police investigation.
Court documents indicate Hollis faces charges related to unlawful contact with a minor, corruption of minors, indecent assault, disseminating explicit sexual materials to minors, indecent exposure and other related offenses.
The charges stem from an incident in 2013, the court documents show.
The allegations surrounding the charges are still unclear, but Chief Walk tells 6 News that Hollis resigned from the Tyrone Police Department after a 14-month-long suspension.
Walk says state police in Huntingdon are handling the investigation.
Online court documents indicate Hollis has yet to be arraigned on the charges.
