LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. — A man from Lookout Mountain, Georgia thought he was setting up a sexual encounter with a woman who would provide him with an 8-year-old girl. He wanted to include a dog.

Turns out, he was speaking with an undercover officer.

In federal court this week, 44-year-old Eric Lee Bagley pleaded guilty to his charges.

In February 2023, Bagley contacted who he thought was an adult woman who was offering up her niece on the online platform known as Kik, according to a release from the U.S. Department of Justice.

Bagley said he was interested in having sex with the woman and her 8-year-old niece.

The release says Bagley

...wanted to include a dog in the sexual contact with them both.

To help entice the woman, Bagley shared several of what are known as "crush videos" that depicted minors and dogs engaging in sexually explicit conduct.

Bagley headed north and west to Athens, Tennessee on July 27th of last year.

It was there he realized the 'woman' he set up the encounter with was actually an officer of the law.

Bagley later agreed to plead guilty to 2 counts: Distribution of child pornography and distribution of a crush video.

This week, a federal judge in Chattanooga sentenced Bagley to 20 years in prison.

After that, he'll remain on probation for another 10 years after that. He'll be required to register as a sex offender, and be barred from owning or having any access to animals.
